Medicare questions that come up a lot in Georgia
Military retirees and TRICARE For Life
Coastal Georgia has many military families and retirees. If you have TRICARE, you generally need Medicare Part A and Part B to keep TRICARE For Life. We explain how the two work together before you make any decision.
VA health care and Medicare
VA care is generally limited to VA facilities, while Medicare covers non-VA doctors and hospitals. Many veterans keep both for flexibility. Our veterans page walks through it.
Rural and small-town access
In parts of South Georgia, the nearest specialist or hospital may be a drive away. Networks matter. We check which plans include the doctors and hospitals you actually use.
